Four missiles hit areas near the port city of Odessa and were believed to be fired from Russian-occupied Crimea; Russia said Ukrainian helicopters were destroyed, though the claims could not be independently verified. In Kherson, Ukrainian forces launched a counteroffensive against Russians occupying the area, a Russian news agency reported.
